I'm quite into the urban living lifestyle and photography books. And I'm totally a city-lover. I love living in the city and I adore the urban culture things...street photography and so on..
That's why these books definitely will be my cups of tea! yeah...I'm gonna get myself a cup of coffee, sitting down and slowly flip thru the books soon when I get them!

For the 2nd book, why Brooklyn? Because, I ♥ NEW YORK so much! Haha..

The french Macarons and chocolates! Souvenirs from my lovely cousins when they spent their 23hours stay in Singapore! I had this for the first time...and it greatly melted in the mouth and truly sweet into the heart!! Love it much but I can only take two for the max. It would be perfect if there's any lesser sweet ones, I just hardly deal with something too sweet. haha...

I was so happy yesterday!! I received this very special parcel from a very special friend!! And I was too excited and couldn't wait to let him know that I've got this! I took a picture of it and posted it straight away to my twitter and facebook! Yes...i'm just loving to share my every moment virtually! hahhaha..

within few minutes, I got a message from my lovely freaky friend and she shouted:"hey.. check out your tweets! Smart ass! now everybody know your address!" I was like...what's wrong with it.. what I've had done?! So i went enjoying my newest tweets and I saw that posted picture...I didn't notice that my home address was SOOOO BIGGG and CLEAR revealed to the world!!!!!! OMG...... i was an idiot!!!! I should have at least "censored" the address part before posting it up! may be it is not really big deal letting people know my address...but it somehow doesn't feel right and safe to reveal so much/ of myself..my home..where I stay or anything so personal!! Yeah...i think home address is very personal!! Who knows what kind of friends/followers are there in my list! And what do these people like to do during their spare time...may be some have the habit or interest of stalking people or giving surprises in front of your door!

It shocked me awhile...!! I'm a no brainer....

Anyway, I am so happppy for the gift!!!!! It means a lot to me! :D

我好懷念週末帶婆婆出游的日子, 飲茶吃點心的日子, 喝starbucks吃雪糕的日子, 陪她老人家理頭髮的日子, 帶她去診所復診的日子, 躺在床上閒聊的日子, 問我現在幾點鐘的日子, 每次比較誰的雙手皺纹多的日子, 替她按摩抓背哈哈大笑的日子, 被她突然冒出的妙答導致啞口無言的日子...還有很多很多, 無數個日子.....

於是, 我要寫一篇日誌, 我不想忘記這種感覺, 我可愛敬愛永遠在心中愛的婆婆。

I've been thinking of this generation thingy these days..
Praying for the Qingming Festival , it brings back something..
may be it's memories or something... that touched.

People born and died, come and go..
day by day, generation by generation..
the elderly gone and the young rises... no doubt, it is the nature of human cycle.

May be I've been seeing lots of old people these days, most of them at the age like 75- below 100.. Everyone of them makes me feel like there's a story book. I wonder what they had been thru and what kind of stories behind, and how they used to be when they were at my age.

I don't know, I just feel it is a precious moment to listen to the stories by the elderly, their life experiences which we could only imagine. How they strove for a living need during the 20s 30s 40s or 50s...How they brought up their kids especially the "Baby Boomer" kids...and how they built the trees up.. and what that leaded them here today. However, the chances become lesser to get them telling you stories of their generation, due to their old-aged memories.

I realize that the baby boomers generation (which is our parents' time) seems to have less family bond with their parents. I don't know why, it might be the period and the cultures during that time where there's less emphasis on thing called "relationship between parent and child", unlike now days, Parent-Child Relationship books are all along the shelves.. Im not sure..

Anyway, I feel we should always be thankful, be kind, and appreciate them. Without them, there's no us today. The world is moving fast and we are growing as time goes by. Sometimes, just make our step a little slower to keep them accompanied.. They couldn't have brought us into their life stories, but we can bring them into our world.

It sounds that, I just have this very strong feeling when being with the old people.
I would really like to start a old-folk's home if I were rich!

What I am going to write about for this post. As what the title has mentioned, It doesn't need to be changed. Had a talk with a friend recently, that reminded me again of keep being myself for who I am.

People always suggest, why don't you be a bit more girly or more feminine? why don't you act a little more cutie so that it would be liked by more people or why don't you be a little more sexy like what those girls...why can't you just dress like what's on the girls' out there...why have to be this odd?! Why can't talk a bit more softer or why..bla bla bla..(endless why)

Hmm..I don't understand. Why I need to act the way that I'm not just to gain favors from the people?! This is me and I believe that you would love me for who I am, instead of the one that you want me to be. I don't think I'm odd. I just know this is the way I'm. We should always live the way we are comfortable with. We live for ourself and not the others. People who really love us would surely appreciate the way we are. Yes, I'm not girly enough, I'm not feminine, not sexy, not that cutie, so? duhh.. what's all these?! Can't be anything more deeper or constructive? I will be looking more into the way of communication between people other than the way of how u look. The "clicking" ability is more worth to be questioned.

I don't want to be anyone else other than myself. :)

That's the corner where all the classic coca-cola were kept last time..

During the weekend, we had spent some time for my grandma..
Brought her back to the very old housing saloon which she used to have her hair cut for the past 40 years! I've never been to this house since very long time ago..
I used to hang around here quite often when I was a little kid, around 5 or 6..which almost 18 years ago!
I was brought up at my grandma's house until twelve. That's the place which I had been really familiar with. Even the old lady at the saloon recognized me! Because I was the big fans of the Coca-cola which was still in it's classic glass bottle at that era. Kids during that time always fascinated about drinking coca-cola...lol!
It's really good spending time with grandma...she loves me a lot and of course I love her even more. I wish she could stay happily and always get the best from all of us because she did give us all the best.

Dealt with some stupid shits and people for the past few weeks... and these shits totally ruined my emotions..However, nothing is constant especially feelings. Finally, I'm fine, and I think everything would be fine too. Hold on to the phrase, take it easy! no matter what..things, emotions, relationships, friends or people. Had been knowing about this movie for long but just got to watch it on the Channel 322. It's considered a low-budget and very down to earth film. The Chinese title of this movie is "Tin Shui Wai Days and Nights,". The film is set at a place called Tin Shui Wai in HongKong, a.k.a. The City of Sadness, and follows a hard-working mother and her teenaged son. Life occurs when the two be friend with a new neighbor, an elderly woman who lives alone..and some relationship among relatives.

There's no interesting storyline and not even climax. The emotions given is just very simple and calm. It's just showing the very true scenes of people's lives..the mother, the son, the elder.. Everything is just so normal as what happens around us every single day. However, it just touches people heart. I feel warm watching it and it gives me the space for thinking.

The movie also had been nominated for the best film at the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards. It had won numerous awards for the team, The Best Director, The Best Screenplay, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. What I can say is, worth watching indeed!

Spent almost an hour time here in a not-so-close friend's blog.. Reading most of her posts and I felt touched. It even made me feeling lump in my throat..I used to cry for books of some real life stories, and now I almost cry for her blog posts. Didn't know there's another part of her which was so great than what I'd had known..

Thru reading blogs, it helps us to understand more about the author, to see some hidden sides of a person as well. People just do not put everything on the face to tell what kind of person we are. That's why communication needed. For people we are not really close to and most probably we don't really get to communicate with these people oftenly, but we still can try to understand them by their expression in words. Sometimes, there's people I've never met before but we feel like an old friend. I kind of knowing them well and somewhat their characteristic and their ways of thinking impressed me too, by their words. When we write something about ourself, we can just express whatever in our mind, whatever our heart feels, need not to worry about who is listening or watching. It's something individual, it's something about oneself. We may tend to share our heart-felt thoughts but I don't really mind what others would response. Because this is just me and I'm not writing for publication, to fit everyone's favor and I don't even write a perfect article or grammars, as long as I know what I'm saying out from my own mind.

However, I seldom would like to post exactly what's in my mind here unless I really really feel expressive. lol~ I don't wish people to know me so well. haha..I know this is weird. I'm always being judged for what others think I'm instead of what I myself think I am. It's fine, I don't mind. Whatever it is, that's it. I still believe that people who really understand me, they will always do.

I reached office in the morning and being told that today is Good Coffee Day and Starbucks are giving away this Freshly Brewed Coffee from 10am-12noon! What a "bad" thing was, server was down again and there was no internet in the office so we couldn't work on anything... Instead of wasting time complaining on the server thingy, we drove all along to the nearest Starbucks for our morning break! :D

I usually don't believe in FREE stuff, but anyway it was really FREE this time! Haha~
How about they consider giving away FREE tumbler next time??

Today, a friend tells me about how our mind works on its' conscious and subconscious ways. There's always over a period of time to only discover things which we thought it doesn't exist. But it does. Like something that we think we like it or we almost sure that's the way it is, but in fact it's not or actually we do not really into it at all, and vice-versa..
After the conversation, I discovered these statements:
The conscious, I'm doing so fine and everything seems like going so right while the subconscious tells, what am I doing and why am I here and feeling so wrong?!
I couldn't sleep well these days and there's countless times I'd woken up in the middle of night with dreams that I didn't want to recall! So it might be affected by the so-called subconscious?! I don't know...Esto es estúpido. I think it is because of drinking too much coffee these days and especially during the late afternoon and evening!

In the middle of work...1 of these pictures caught my eyes, haha! And so leaded me to the Flickr searching for these wonderful breakfast images! I picked up my gym back again... it's all about D.I.S.C.I.P.L.I.N.E which i hardly deal with :(

What am I up to...recently?! until I left my blog behind without a word at all for the past whole week. My heart keeps telling me to come down here at least post up something since I really have a lot of thoughts in mind waiting to be written down.
yeah..I did, I signed in everyday and thought of getting something posted. However, i just ended up watching... just didn't feel so expressive.

Recently I was craving for glasses..that I think is another essential style statement. I feel it shouldn't be questioned that, "Why are you wearing glasses though u don't have any sight problems?" or "Why are u wearing sunglasses in the indoor?". These are outdated questions! Don't you know that glasses has become part of fashion accessories?! A style item. Just like why or how you gel up your hair. It's just as normal as that. There's nothing called "too-much" in fashion. It's everyone's choice and fascination.

This really nice loft looks familiar?! Yeah..it is the Humphrey's house! I love this so much!!

I like this kind of urban living lifestyle, downtown loft living. I just feel it is so nice and artsy, yet it personalizes the owner's characteristic. It is All-in-One, work-cum-living, included my workstation, my bed, my living room, my kitchen..etc.. in just one open space! Yeah...Im a lazy person and this kind of room suits me well. I'd be happy enough wake up in the morning just beside my computer so I can say Hello to the world!

I received this postcard from a very unique friend who is now on his way chasing his big dreams... Yeah..he is still in London now before he decides to move again...haha!
It was a great feeling that I hardly describe whenever I got something from far across the globe. It just simply makes me feeling touched and happy by holding that in my hand but before this was by the sender's! It's kind of feeling "connected" and so close to each other even though we are in 2 different places.

This is what I can't have it's feeling through technologies, like what we use to do it everyday here by using msn, emails..etc. Yes..they're so convenient, so quick and direct get in touch with people but still, it feels cold. I think the most old-school way gives me the most impact of human connection. It is so different than typing on the keyboard and only feeling the screen! Therefore, don't stop writing and deliver to the postbox, and love the postman. Thanks, Averyn! :)

It's the farewell party hold for our superb CD, Mr.Noor!! He was known for his "official representative appearance", white shirt and black frame glasses..haha~ So the night, everyone dressed for the theme!

we were like....back to the school kids... lol~

We went to the club after party...and the people there wanted to check and see our IC and license!! And wtf was...she insisted wanna to see my ic while the other people just need to show their driving license would do.. :( Hey...Im old enough.. ! Anyway, it's not my fault for having such a face that's always being treated as kid... I should thank it instead.....for saving me money on anti-aging products! LOL~

#95 - The FHM party

Last Friday after work, we went to the FHM 100 Most
Wanted Women in the World 2009 party at The Loft.

We just rushed there right after work and didn't manage to get ourselves dressed up for the party... Apparently everyone had already planned and brought their clothes to the office for changing! LOL~ Nevermind, we're already cool enough! haha!

With DrNoor, our Creative Director who will be leaving us very soon! :(
(We had a wonderful farewell dinner session with him yesterday night!)

There's the free flow Calsberg for us at the party... I've been learning to drink these days! haha..I was kind of who easily got drunk by only 1 can of beer last time!! But now, at least I still manage to have a little bit whisky or martini... or even Tequila shots! But it tastes suck...and I got all red just within some minutes!! "Thanks" to my bunch of "cool friends" who always force people to drink! -_-

#94 - I've put some colors on

It's been some time I never color my hair! Almost a year...!
Instead of letting it black, I'd dyed it into some darker brown, a very low-profile and common color. I want white blonde hair actually, but I think I couldn't really make it due to too many reasons... I think my family will be mad on seeing me with the similar hair color with my grandma....and the most important is, I'm a lazy person and I don't think I will be taking care my hair perfectly and probably will end up going bald because of the damages caused on that bleached white hair! and again my family will be even more mad of seeing me with bald head walking around together with them! LOL~ I love them so much and I care for their feelings..hahaha~ No choice, that's the culture in this country...
So...I just got some little trim and color on it. It's just fine and it definitely won't hurt people's eyes :)

p/s: for my doggy...I was just trying to hide her up under my leg.

Recently, I'm always having this in my mind...
I'm thinking that I should have come out with something...
something that worth...some achievements may be...or
something that I really interested and keen in doing it..
and definitely something that earns!
I wish to build something for myself about a tiny interest
of mine. LOL~ Just think that I should have some real objectives
that I would want to achieve instead of just being at this same point
like now forever. I wanna move on to some other points, at least try to.
Life is short, make it to the full. Whatever had in mind,
just do it before it gets cold.

said that it was the first time she saw grape jam in packet.. -_-|||

It's still early in the morning...we ate, talked and snapped pictures...
Also, they found a liquid eyeliner in my bag and here it came the
make-up session... haha

6:30pm: 3 of us went for dinner together again! We had Italian food and we
talked about ghost stories because of the ambiance of the restaurant.....LOL~

8:45pm: Weiling and I went for movies and Sookrong
also went for another movie with her mommy

Then we went to collect our movie tickets which I'd reserved
online yesterday... but they couldn't find my tickets! wth....
I'd made a wrong day reservation!!! The tickets that I'd reserved were
actually yesterday show! Anyway...we were lucky enough to wait for
the last minute released tickets and managed to get into the show at last!
Sorry....was my fault again ><

We watched the HK movie "Overheard".

It's a nice one!!! Daniel Wu is still so handsome!! :D

Before we got in to the theater, Weiling stood at the middle
of the hall in front of the entrance...cos she wanna to get more
attention by standing at the center place... I don't understand why... -_-

while I was standing as corner as I could...at the side... lol~

Time is just passing by so fast..here another Sunday again!
I was sick since last Sunday but until now I stil haven't fully
recovered from the cough and flu...and it is still ruining my voice.

Haha...anyway I still manage to spend time out chilling with friends.
Just I don't feel like talking much to people with my "sexy" voice caused
by the flu! LOL~ What I've been doing lately other than working..
there's few parties I'd attended during the weekends for the past
few weeks.. It's kinda tiring but still happening. yeah..i'm playful.
Shouldn't have said NO when come to having fun! :D

Yesterday got the invitation to the Heineken Green Room party at Zouk
but it was so crowded and I didn't really feel good at there because
people around me were so tall and totally blocked everything and I
could see nothing. Anyway, got free Heineken and I first felt that
it's something nice to drink when I was so hot and sweated in there!!
This was the first time I like about alcoholic drinks! Then we changed
to another place which was not so crowded but still happening and different
kind of music genres to fill the night. I forgot the name..somewhere
around the city and it was a pretty cool place. Those bars and pubs are
just built in that 2 rows of shops and houses by the roadside and there's
the foreigners' hotspots. I saw a guy who was in my FB list...He looked
cool but I personally felt he was acting arrogant..no good feeling. I might
be wrong.. I don't know. Guy who never thinks himself is hot but actually he
is, the more appealing. Don't you think so..?! LOL~ (totally my own
opinion, no offense)

And what a bout today now...
gonna bring my doggy for grooming... it is not cheap, again! :(

and may be I also don't have that nice body shape to carry those
clothes nicely. :( Anyway...seems that my tastes are not bad!!
Most of these items are costing thousand above (in MYR) including
designer brands like Tsumori Chisato.. Stella McCartney..YSL..MARC JACOBS..COACH..CDG...Rayban..etc..which I didn't realize at all when
choosing the items to match them together! I wish I could really get
them all in my wardrobe!!!

Early in the morning, received call from my lovely friend far apart the
ocean and concerning about how I have been doing these days! so happy
to hear her voice again and her funny bf ever!! LOL~ I really love u guys
so much for being so silly in the early morning to wake up my mind before
work! Thanks for buying me the presents too! I wish i could really get
myself to visit you in this end of year...but seems difficult! ya...why...
because I'm poor all the time! :(

Skateboard incident

Last Saturday when we were having BBQ party at the poolside...
and here this 2-wheels skateboard thingy became the so popular game of the day!!

What happened was...when everyone were crazy playing and competing..
our Princess Rong(Known as Miss.Sookrong) fell down and.....her face
directly hit to the ground and broke her front teeth!!!!! Gosh...we
are too old for breaking our teeth off since we are no longer coming
out with any new teeth!! The only thing could help is, go for the
dentist and make a new plastic teeth! Her lip is now swollen with the
teeth broken...I don't think she'd allow me to post her pic here... LOL~
Pity rong... :( Anyway, thank god that was not breaking the nose or the
eyes! It will be alright...get well soon!! And the lesson was..do not
over-play! haha~ Hey guys... I was happy being a loser that day!!
See what had happened now!(everyone laughed at me for playing liked a
noob coz I really scared of falling down!) hahaha~ (sorry sookrong,
plz allow me to L-O-L!! hahaha)

Once the incident happened...everybody liked stunned and stopped playing
anymore. :( We totally blew off the thought of getting ourselves a
skateboard!! It was so dangerous!!
